The community stilt house system consists of 07 original stilt houses, transported from Chiem Hoa, Tuyen Quang – a place famous for the traditional wooden architecture typical of the Tay ethnic group. The transportation and restoration of these houses in Thung Nham shows respect for indigenous cultural values, while demonstrating the commitment to developing tourism based on the foundation of preserving architectural and natural heritage.

Each stilt house is not only a simple resting place but also a symbol of a unique cultural story, giving visitors a vivid experience of the life of the northern mountainous community amidst natural heritage.

2. Flexible design – Scale to serve diverse needs

Each stilt house can accommodate from 30 to 45 people, meeting the accommodation needs of many groups of guests such as groups, students, businesses organizing events, or large families. The interior space is arranged to be open and flexible, both creating conditions for community activities and ensuring necessary privacy through separating curtains.

3. Comprehensive upgrade – Amenities in traditional space

In parallel with maintaining the traditional architecture, Thung Nham has invested in upgrading amenities to enhance the accommodation experience:

4. Smart layout – Maximizing natural landscape

One of the outstanding strengths of the Thung Nham community stilt house system is the methodical arrangement of the houses, making the most of the natural landscape and terrain:

  • The Tre Xanh stilt house is located near the Hang But boat dock, convenient for exploring the river and accessing the rich culinary area on the campus. This location creates a lively space, connecting with the rhythm of the tourist area.
  • The Bong Lau stilt house, located right next to Tre Xanh, has a clear view towards the Thung Nham culinary area. The Bong Lau stilt house is built from the wooden house of the Northern Delta with sophisticated carvings on the doors, rafters, and a traditional Do paper lamp system decorated with typical images of Thung Nham such as bird gardens, caves, flower paradises and spiritual worship clusters. This architecture not only enhances the aesthetic value but also brings visitors deeply into the culture and nature typical of Thung Nham.
  • The Huong Cau, Huong Lan, Huong Sua and Huong Tram stilt houses are arranged in Binh Minh resort, overlooking the culinary peninsula, suitable for groups organizing events, seminars or collective activities.
  • Moc Huong stilt house is located right next to the swimming pool, with a wide view of Tien Lake and the bird garden boat dock, creating a balance between relaxation and available amenities.
